Alain Mutricy leads a global Mobile Devices team responsible for the definition and business management of our products throughout their life cycles, synchronizing software and product innovations to deliver devices that provide differentiated and meaningful consumer experiences.

Previously, he served as senior vice president, Portfolio and Device Product Management, a role in which he led a team that advanced a strategic focus on Android-based smartphones. This included the widely acclaimed family of DROID by Motorola products – and others such as CLIQ^™, MILESTONE^™ and the award-winning MOTOROLA ATRIX^™ and MOTOROLA XOOM^™.

Prior to that at Motorola, he led a global research-and-development team responsible for designing and implementing integrated circuits, wireless chipset solutions, platform software, product software for non-CDMA products, and an ecosystem strategy for mobile devices.

A founding member of the MIPI Alliance, Mutricy also has served as a director of the Open Mobile Alliance and a board member of Symbian UIQ.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from HEC Paris, graduating cum laude, as well as a master’s degree in engineering from ENSAM in Paris. Prior to joining Motorola in 2007, Mutricy was with Texas Instruments.
