Jim Brennan is responsible for aligning Motorola Mobility’s employees, processes and new technology initiatives with the company’s business strategy and vision – to support and innovate on new business and management strategies that meet long-term objectives.
Previously, Brennan served as corporate vice president of the Motorola Home & Networks Mobility (H&NM) business Supply Chain, which included global operations associated with planning, purchasing, new product introduction, manufacturing, customer fulfillment and repair. He was responsible for end-to-end Supply Chain operations to meet the needs of H&NM customers, while also working to deliver world-class quality and cost savings.
Brennan served in other H&NM senior leadership positions, including strategy, business operations, IT, and mergers and acquisitions. In these roles, he was responsible for Supply Chain execution, integration of acquired companies, management of information systems, and business planning and strategy.
Prior to joining Motorola in 2000, Brennan held leadership positions at Northrop Grumman/Vought Aircraft in engineering development, manufacturing, flight test operations and quality.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University. He also completed the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School advanced management program and the University of Michigan’s manufacturing executive program.
