Marc Rothman is responsible for leading teams that oversee all financial activities of our new company. He brings an extensive background in both corporate and divisional financial management – including accounting, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures – to Motorola Mobility.
Previously, Rothman served as senior vice president of finance and corporate comptroller of the Mobile Devices business, where he led corporate financial planning and analysis and provided support to corporate functions.
Rothman has served in a variety of senior leadership positions across Motorola – leading financial operations for units such as the Commercial, Government and Industrial Solutions Sector (CGISS), the Networks and Enterprise business, the Government and Public Safety business, and the Broadband Communications Sector. In those roles, he led several significant acquisition and divestiture transactions, including the purchase of Symbol Technologies and the sale of Motorola’s automotive unit.
He joined Motorola during its acquisition of General Instrument Corp. in 2000, serving then as vice president and corporate controller. A certified public accountant, Rothman received his bachelor's degree from Stockton College.
