Mike Fleming leads the Mobility end-to-end value chain, consisting of the Home and Mobile Device business units. Mike’s supply chain responsibilities include new product introduction, procurement, manufacturing, customer fulfillment and overall business operations.

Prior to his appointment as the Mobility Supply Chain lead, Fleming served as corporate vice president for the Motorola Mobile Devices Supply Chain, leading a team with the same end-to-end value-chain responsibilities noted above.

A 21-year veteran of Motorola, Fleming has held numerous leadership positions throughout his tenure at the company. He has led Supply Chain business operations for three significant units within Motorola – Government & Public Safety (G&PS), Networks and Enterprise, and Mobile Devices.

Earlier in his career, Fleming also was vice president of electronic manufacturing services/original design manufacturer (EMS/ODM) operations for the Motorola Integrated Supply Chain, where he established and led the EMS and ODM operations for Motorola’s worldwide businesses. Responsibilities included defining and executing a new global operational model to manage more effectively all manufactured sub-assemblies and final products to Motorola and its customers.

He has worked in a variety of Supply Chain management roles focused on new product and manufacturing technologies, multi-plant management and regional supply chain operations – including transformation efforts that led to increased outsourcing and consolidation of the Americas manufacturing footprint for the former G&PS business.

Away from the office, Fleming is active in the community with organizations such as the United Way. His educational background includes both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
