Rob McLaughlin

Rob McLaughlin is responsible for worldwide sales, sales operations, deployment services and support for the Home business.

Previously, he served as senior vice president and regional general manager for the Americas. In this role, McLaughlin was responsible for all Latin America and North America Go-to-Market activities for the Home business, including video transport and encoding networks, Internet Protocol (IP) edge solutions, hybrid fiber-coax transport networks and consumer-premise equipment. He drove double-digit revenue growth for three consecutive years and was instrumental in enhancing Motorola’s customer engagement model and global process improvements. He led the business’s expansion effort in Latin America, collaborating with the region’s largest telecommunication carrier, to build out transport and video set-top networks across Brazil, Mexico and Central America.

McLaughlin also has held a number of sales management positions, including in Hong Kong as director of Asia Pacific Sales and Services.

He joined Motorola as part of the acquisition in 2000 of General Instrument Corp., where began his career in various roles within the corporate Finance group.

McLaughlin is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in business administration. In addition, he attended several continuing education courses at Harvard University, the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the University of Michigan.

McLaughlin received the Motorola CEO Leadership Award – an honor recognizing corporate officers who have dedicated themselves to demonstrating behaviors and achieving outstanding results -- for three consecutive years from 2004 to 2006.
