Wow your Colleagues with your Multitasking Skills
Lapdock 500 Pro supports full multi-tasking, making it easy to respond to an incoming text or take a call while browsing the Web, using one of the thousands of Android apps available, working on documents, or accessing remote-work applications. With the full Firefox® browser and Adobe® Flash®, users get desktop-class Web browsing and broad compatibility across more content and more sites.
Business users can view work documents using the popular PDF format, and create and edit full documents with QuickOffice™ and Google Docs using the full-size keyboard with dedicated Android keys. And when it comes time to print those documents, simply send them to a long list of supported printers through the integrated MOTOPRINT™ application. For businesses taking advantage of desktop virtualization, the Lapdock 500 Pro is a unique, lower-cost option offering users access to all their work apps and documents. The integrated Ethernet connection, with speeds rated up to 100 megabits per second, makes virtualization and multi-tasking absolutely seamless.
Video Chat from Wherever you Are
Lapdock 500 Pro has an integrated webcam for attending virtual meetings and video conferencing with colleagues and friends. The new, larger trackpad supports two-finger scrolling to easily navigate within long documents or websites and through your phone screens. Its VGA output can be used to connect to an office projector or monitor to share presentations, videos or a website with a broader group. Lapdock 500 Pro also includes an SD card reader and two USB ports, to make transferring content to and from your smartphone easier. Use an SD card to transfer photos and videos from your camera or connect an external hard drive or thumb drive through the USB ports to back up and transfer data, documents or media. Additionally, the Lapdock 500 Pro has a PC-like file manager, making it convenient and intuitive to view, copy, paste, move or delete files on your smartphone, SD card or external drive.
Ultra-mobile for Productivity In or Out of the Office
Lapdock 500 Pro is designed for mobility – it is significantly lighter than most laptops that have as large a screen, and easily fits in a briefcase or backpack. Use it at home, in the office, at your favorite coffee shop, at the airport or in your hotel room when traveling. With seven hours of battery life, you can stay productive all day, and the Lapdock charges your phone while docked.
Lapdock 500 Pro has a convenient tether to connect your Motorola smartphone to the dock. Simply attach the flexible cable, place your phone on the table and you are ready to go. For portability or tight working spaces, place the phone in the convenient cradle at the back of the Lapdock. The new Lapdock 500 Pro is currently compatible with Motorola RAZR™ and will be compatible with future Motorola webtop-enabled smartphones.
