At FRI 2009 in Dallas we are highlighting the IAFC/Motorola International Benjamin Franklin Fire Service Award for Valor, a presentation on local fire and public safety agencies’ emergency preparedness in the wake of the Northern Illinois University shootings and the appointment of R. David Paulison, former FEMA administrator, to lead Motorola government, enterprise funding programs and fire service/emergency management “voice of the customer” research. Also, Motorola will highlight the recent public safety launches of the SmartX ASTRO 25 migration solution, the expansion of the APX 7500 Mobile Radio product line with the addition of the 09 Control Head, and PremierOne, Motorola’s next generation of 9-1-1 Computer Aided Dispatch.
