Motorola Debut™ i856 Fact Sheet

Rise and Shine

Motorola Debut™ i856: Rise and Shine
Motorola Debut™ i856 - the first iDEN push-to-talk1 slider - stays with you through life’s ups and downs, with fast push-to-talk1, music and camera features.

Smooth Move
Motorola Debut is the first iDEN device to combine the convenience of push-to-talk1 with the smooth control of a slider. The compact design gives easier access to the keypad along with the security of keeping keys protected when not in use. Control your music, take calls, view messages and access the Web1, all with the slider closed.

Connect At Anytime
When you need a fast response, Motorola Debut lets you control the conversation with all your favorite push-to-talk features1. Chat with up to 20 friends at once, have short-range conversations outside network areas or instantly send contact info and pictures to family with compatible handsets1. You can even convert push-to-talk conversations into voice calls for a quick and easy change of pace.  If you prefer the written word, use IM-style texting1 to view entire conversations all on one screen.  Once your message is ready to go, send it in the background1 and move on to other applications.

Mix It Up
Music features include a dedicated key to instantly open up your song library, dual speakers and enhanced 3D audio to play music the way it was meant to sound.  Listen to your music your way with a 3.5mm headset jack for wired headphones or wirelessly using stereo Bluetooth®2.  Keep your music in constant rotation by easily swapping songs from your desktop and storing up to 10 hours of music with optional 8GB of removable memory3. With an easy-to-use camera and video capture and playback you no longer have to rely just on your memory.  A large library will store all your images and videos so you can reminisce at a moment’s notice.
